Internet Search Strategy
- Conduct a simple search using Google with 2-3
descriptive terms (e.g., wool capes fashion) separated
by single spaces. If this approach produces too many extraneous
results, refine your search by placing a descriptive phrase (e.g.,
"wool capes") between quotation marks. You can also use
additional words or phrases to further narrow the responses.
- Occasionally you may need to further restrict a seach by eliminating
results that include certain terms. To do this, simply add a minus
sign (e.g., wool capes -costume eliminates responses
that include costume as key word.
