Caleigh Celtic Circle Cape This style is patterned after traditional circle capes but has also been updated with some enhancements that increase comfort, durability, and functionality. The design features 3/4 length "sleeves" formed by triangular closures along the cape edge. This innovation maintains the stylish flow of the cape while providing increased warmth and protection in windy conditions. When combined with the wrap scarf option (as shown at left) this style provides a very classic and timeless look. Our circle capes come in three lengths. The 46" model works well as a mid-length cape for people in the 5'3"-5'8" (160-172 cm) height range. The 42" cut works well as a shorter, more casual cape especially when combined with the drawstring hood or a flat collar. It also serves as a mid-length cape for people shorter than 5'3" (160 cm). Our 50" circle cape works well as long cape for folks shorter than 5'8" (172 cm) and as a mid-length cape for people from 5'8" to 5'11" (172-180 cm). We generally don't recommend our circle capes to anyone taller than 6'0" because fabric width imposes a constraint on sleeve length.

Caleigh Long Cloak Caleigh long cloaks work well for those desiring a dramatic and elegantly formal look. It feature arm slots rather than sleeves and is full length all around. This style includes multiple panels so it can be scaled up or down according to your needs. We find that the 56" (142 cm) works well for most people but use the comment box on the design form to let us know if you need something longer (or shorter). When combined with a drawstring hood the look moves toward mysterious while the standup collar is more dashing and dramatic. We don't recommend the wrap scarf with this design. We have made several of long cloaks in black with black blanket stitiching for musicians to wear over tuxedoes and other formal attire.
